Travis Patterson and George Gill are childhood friends and the only employees of Noble Wolf Studio. Since high school they’ve completed over 28,000 road trip miles in the name of brotherhood, honing their craft, better understanding American cultures, and the majestic happenstances that the landscape provides. We aimed to capture those moments in extraordinary and unique ways. We remember trying to capture lightning in a snapshot over Wyoming’s Tetons all night long. We heard seals five hundred feet below California’s Highway One but couldn’t see them through a blanket of fog. We slept below a bright Milky Way with chatty coyotes outside of Arizona’s Petrified Forest. We were pleasantly surprised by the local beer scene in Little Rock and that the country’s best sushi was inside a California hotel. We now want to do our part to support others in fostering similarly fond experiences.
At Noble Wolf Studio, donating profits from our art sales to artists and environmental organizations has been a cornerstone of our values since business inception. While 25% of our funds are externally given to foundations like the National Park Foundation, Yosemite Conservancy, National Park Trust, and the Nature Conservancy, we have established an in-house endowment simply entitled the Road Fund. Based equally on merit and need, it provides emerging artists and students with financial packages to support American road trips by automobile. Details and submissions can be made below.
